Descendants of Adam
1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
זֶ֣ה סֵ֔פֶר תֹּולְדֹ֖ת אָדָ֑ם בְּיֹ֗ום בְּרֹ֤א אֱלֹהִים֙ אָדָ֔ם בִּדְמ֥וּת אֱלֹהִ֖ים עָשָׂ֥ה אֹתֹֽו׃

זָכָ֥ר וּנְקֵבָ֖ה בְּרָאָ֑ם וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ אֹתָ֗ם וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֶת־שְׁמָם֙ אָדָ֔ם בְּיֹ֖ום הִבָּֽרְאָֽם׃

| 10 καὶ ἔζησεν Ἐνὼς μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Καϊνᾶν, ἑπτακόσια καὶ δέκα πέντε ἔτη· καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας. | 10 καὶ ἔζησεν Ἐνὼς μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Καϊνᾶν πεντεκαίδεκα ἔτη καὶ ἑπτακόσια καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας. |

| 13 καὶ ἔζησεν Καϊνᾶν μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Μαλελεήλ, ἑπτακόσια καὶ τεσσαράκοντα ἔτη· καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας. | 13 καὶ ἔζησε Καϊνᾶν μετὰ τὸ γεννῆσαι αὐτὸν τὸν Μαλελεὴλ τεσσαράκοντα καὶ ἑπτακόσια ἔτη καὶ ἐγέννησεν υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας. |

וַיִּקְרָ֧א אֶת־שְׁמֹ֛ו נֹ֖חַ לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֞ה֠ יְנַחֲמֵ֤נוּ מִֽמַּעֲשֵׂ֙נוּ֙ וּמֵעִצְּבֹ֣ון יָדֵ֔ינוּ מִן־הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵֽרְרָ֖הּ יְהוָֽה׃
| 29 καὶ ἐπωνόμασεν τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Νῶε λέγων, οὗτος διαναπαύσει ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων ἡμῶν, καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν λυπῶν τῶν χειρῶν ἡμῶν, καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς, ἧς κατηράσατο κύριος ὁ θεός. | 29 καὶ ἐπωνόμασε τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Νῶε λέγων· οὗτος διαναπαύσει ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων ἡμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν λυπῶν τῶν χειρῶν ἡμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς, ἧς κατηράσατο Κύριος ὁ Θεός. |
