Death of Moses
1 And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the LORD showed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,
וַיַּ֨עַל מֹשֶׁ֜ה מֵֽעַרְבֹ֤ת מֹואָב֙ אֶל־הַ֣ר נְבֹ֔ו רֹ֚אשׁ הַפִּסְגָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֣י יְרֵחֹ֑ו וַיַּרְאֵ֨הוּ יְהוָ֧ה אֶת־כָּל־הָאָ֛רֶץ אֶת־הַגִּלְעָ֖ד עַד־דָּֽן׃
| 1 Καὶ ἀνέβη Μωυσῆς ἀπὸ Ἀραβὼθ Μωὰβ ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος Ναβαὺ ἐπὶ κορυφὴν Φασγά, ἥ ἐστιν ἐπὶ προσώπου Ἰεριχώ, καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτῷ κύριος πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Γαλαὰδ ἕως Δὰν | 1

וְאֵת֙ כָּל־נַפְתָּלִ֔י וְאֶת־אֶ֥רֶץ אֶפְרַ֖יִם וּמְנַשֶּׁ֑ה וְאֵת֙ כָּל־אֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֔ה עַ֖ד הַיָּ֥ם הָאַחֲרֹֽון׃

3 And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.
וְאֶת־הַנֶּ֗גֶב וְֽאֶת־הַכִּכָּ֞ר בִּקְעַ֧ת יְרֵחֹ֛ו עִ֥יר הַתְּמָרִ֖ים עַד־צֹֽעַר׃

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֵלָ֗יו זֹ֤את הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִ֠שְׁבַּעְתִּי לְאַבְרָהָ֨ם לְיִצְחָ֤ק וּֽלְיַעֲקֹב֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לְזַרְעֲךָ֖ אֶתְּנֶ֑נָּה הֶרְאִיתִ֣יךָ בְעֵינֶ֔יךָ וְשָׁ֖מָּה לֹ֥א תַעֲבֹֽר׃
| 4 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν αὕτη ἡ γῆ, ἣν ὤμοσα Ἁβραὰμ καὶ Ἰσαὰκ καὶ Ἰακὼβ λέγων τῷ σπέρματι ὑμῶν δώσω αὐτήν· καὶ ἔδειξα αὐτὴν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς σου, καὶ ἐκεῖ οὐκ εἰσελεύσῃ. | 4 καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν· αὕτη ἡ γῆ, ἣν ὠμόσαμεν τῷ Ἁβραὰμ καὶ Ἰσαὰκ καὶ Ἰακὼβ λέγων· τῷ σπέρματι ὑμῶν δώσω αὐτήν· καὶ ἔδειξα τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς σου, καὶ ἐκεῖ οὐκ εἰσελεύσῃ. |

6 And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Beth-peor: but no man knows of his sepulchre unto this day.
וַיִּקְבֹּ֨ר אֹתֹ֤ו בַגַּיְ֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מֹואָ֔ב מ֖וּל בֵּ֣ית פְּעֹ֑ור וְלֹֽא־יָדַ֥ע אִישׁ֙ אֶת־קְבֻ֣רָתֹ֔ו עַ֖ד הַיֹּ֥ום הַזֶּֽה׃
| 6 καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν Γαὶ ἐν γῇ Μωὰβ ἐγγὺς οἴκου Φογώρ· καὶ οὐκ οἶδεν οὐδεὶς τὴν ταφὴν αὐτοῦ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης. | 6 καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν ἐν Γαῖ ἐγγὺς οἴκου Φογώρ· καὶ οὐκ εἶδεν οὐδεὶς τὴν ταφὴν αὐτοῦ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης. |

7 And Moses was 120 years old when he died: his eye wasn’t dim, nor his natural force abated.
וּמֹשֶׁ֗ה בֶּן־מֵאָ֧ה וְעֶשְׂרִ֛ים שָׁנָ֖ה בְּמֹתֹ֑ו לֹֽא־כָהֲתָ֥ה עֵינֹ֖ו וְלֹא־נָ֥ס לֵחֹֽה׃
| 7 Μωυσῆς δὲ ἦν ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσι ἐτῶν ἐν τῷ τελευτᾶν αὐτόν· οὐκ ἠμαυρώθησαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ, οὐδὲ ἐφθάρησαν τὰ χελύνια αὐτοῦ. | 7 Μωυσῆς δὲ ἦν ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσιν ἐτῶν ἐν τῷ τελευτᾶν αὐτόν· οὐκ ἠμαυρώθησαν οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ, οὐδὲ ἐφθάρησαν τὰ χελώνια αὐτοῦ. |

וַיִּבְכּוּ֩ בְנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֛ה בְּעַֽרְבֹ֥ת מֹואָ֖ב שְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים יֹ֑ום וַֽיִּתְּמ֔וּ יְמֵ֥י בְכִ֖י אֵ֥בֶל מֹשֶֽׁה׃

9 And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israēl listened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
וִֽיהֹושֻׁ֣עַ בִּן־נ֗וּן מָלֵא֙ ר֣וּחַ חָכְמָ֔ה כִּֽי־סָמַ֥ךְ מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת־יָדָ֖יו עָלָ֑יו וַיִּשְׁמְע֨וּ אֵלָ֤יו בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֔וּ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃
| 9 καὶ Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Ναυὴ ἐνεπλήσθη πνεύματος συνέσεως, ἐπέθηκεν γὰρ Μωυσῆς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ ἐπ’ αὐτόν· καὶ εἰσήκουσαν αὐτοῦ οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἐποίησαν καθότι ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ. | 9 καὶ Ἰησοῦς υἱὸς Ναυὴ ἐνεπλήσθη πνεύματος συνέσεως, ἐπέθηκε γὰρ Μωυσῆς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ ἐπ’ αὐτόν· καὶ εἰσήκουσαν αὐτοῦ οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἐποίησαν καθότι ἐνετείλατο Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ. |

10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israēl like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,
וְלֹֽא־קָ֨ם נָבִ֥יא עֹ֛וד בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כְּמֹשֶׁ֑ה אֲשֶׁר֙ יְדָעֹ֣ו יְהוָ֔ה פָּנִ֖ים אֶל־פָּנִֽים׃

לְכָל־הָ֨אֹתֹ֜ות וְהַמֹּופְתִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר שְׁלָחֹו֙ יְהוָ֔ה לַעֲשֹׂ֖ות בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם לְפַרְעֹ֥ה וּלְכָל־עֲבָדָ֖יו וּלְכָל־אַרְצֹֽו׃
| 11 ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς σημείοις καὶ τέρασιν, ὃν ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν κύριος ποιῆσαι αὐτὰ ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ Φαραὼ καὶ τοῖς θεράπουσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ πάσῃ τῇ γῇ αὐτοῦ, | 11 ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς σημείοις καὶ τέρασιν, ὃν ἀπέστειλεν αὐτὸν Κύριος ποιῆσαι αὐτὰ ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ Φαραὼ καὶ τοῖς θεράπουσιν αὐτοῦ καὶ πάσῃ τῇ γῇ αὐτοῦ, |

וּלְכֹל֙ הַיָּ֣ד הַחֲזָקָ֔ה וּלְכֹ֖ל הַמֹּורָ֣א הַגָּדֹ֑ול אֲשֶׁר֙ עָשָׂ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֔ה לְעֵינֵ֖י כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
