1 And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations;
וַיְהִ֗י בִּימֵי֙ אַמְרָפֶ֣ל מֶֽלֶךְ־שִׁנְעָ֔ר אַרְיֹ֖וךְ מֶ֣לֶךְ אֶלָּסָ֑ר כְּדָרְלָעֹ֙מֶר֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ עֵילָ֔ם וְתִדְעָ֖ל מֶ֥לֶךְ גֹּויִֽם׃
| 1 ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῇ Ἀμαρφὰλ βασιλέως Σενναάρ, Ἀριὼχ βασιλεὺς Ἑλλασὰρ καὶ Χοδολλογομὸρ βασιλεὺς Αἰλὰμ καὶ Θαργὰλ βασιλεὺς ἐθνῶν | 1 Ἐγένετο δὲ ἐν τῇ βασιλείᾳ τῇ Ἀμαρφὰλ βασιλέως Σενναάρ, καὶ Ἀριὼχ βασιλέως Ἐλλασάρ, Χοδολλογομὸρ βασιλεὺς Ἐλὰμ καὶ Θαργὰλ βασιλεὺς ἐθνῶν |

עָשׂ֣וּ מִלְחָמָ֗ה אֶת־בֶּ֙רַע֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ סְדֹ֔ם וְאֶת־בִּרְשַׁ֖ע מֶ֣לֶךְ עֲמֹרָ֑ה שִׁנְאָ֣ב ׀ מֶ֣לֶךְ אַדְמָ֗ה וְשֶׁמְאֵ֙בֶר֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ וּמֶ֥לֶךְ בֶּ֖לַע הִיא־צֹֽעַר׃

10 And the vale of Siddim was full of slimepits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, and fell there; and they who remained fled to the mountain.

| 14 ἀκούσας δὲ Ἅβραμ ὅτι ᾐχμαλώτευται Λὼτ ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ, ἠρίθμησεν τοὺς ἰδίους οἰκογενεῖς αὐτοῦ, τριακοσίους δέκα καὶ ὀκτώ, καὶ κατεδίωξεν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν ἕως Δάν. | 14 ἀκούσας δὲ Ἅβραμ ὅτι ᾐχμαλώτευται Λὼτ ὁ ἀδελφιδοῦς αὐτοῦ, ἠρίθμησε τοὺς ἰδίους οἰκογενεῖς αὐτοῦ, τριακοσίους δέκα καὶ ὀκτώ, καὶ κατεδίωξεν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν ἕως Δάν. |

God’s Promise to Abram
17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at the valley of Shaveh, which is the king’s dale.
יֵּצֵ֣א מֶֽלֶךְ־סְדֹם֮ לִקְרָאתֹו֒ אַחֲרֵ֣י שׁוּבֹ֗ו מֵֽהַכֹּות֙ אֶת־כְּדָר־לָעֹ֔מֶר וְאֶת־הַמְּלָכִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתֹּ֑ו אֶל־עֵ֣מֶק שָׁוֵ֔ה ה֖וּא עֵ֥מֶק הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃

| 23 εἰ ἀπὸ σπαρτίου ἕως σφαιρωτῆρος ὑποδήματος λήμψομαι ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν σῶν, ἵνα μὴ εἴπῃς ὅτι, ἐγὼ ἐπλούτισα τὸν Ἅβραμ· | 23 εἰ ἀπὸ σπαρτίου ἕως σφυρωτῆρος ὑποδήματος λήψομαι ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν σῶν, ἵνα μὴ εἴπῃς, ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐπλούτισα τὸν Ἅβραμ· |
