לַמְנַצֵּ֣חַ בִּ֭נְגִינֹות עַֽל־הַשְּׁמִינִ֗ית מִזְמֹ֥ור לְדָוִֽד׃

Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ἐν ὕμνοις ὑπὲρ τῆς ὀγδόης, ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυίδ.	Εἰς τὸ τέλος, ἐν ὕμνοις, ὑπὲρ τῆς ὀγδόης· ψαλμὸς τῷ Δαυΐδ. —

1 Oh LORD, don’t rebuke me in your anger, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.

יְֽהוָ֗ה אַל־בְּאַפְּךָ֥ תֹוכִיחֵ֑נִי וְֽאַל־בַּחֲמָתְךָ֥ תְיַסְּרֵֽנִי׃

1 Κύριε, μὴ τῷ θυμῷ σου ἐλέγξῃς με, μηδὲ τῇ ὀργῇ σου παιδεύσῃς με.	1 κύριε, μὴ τῷ θυμῷ σου ἐλέγξῃς με, μηδὲ τῇ ὀργῇ σου παιδεύσῃς με.

חָנֵּ֥נִי יְהוָה֮ כִּ֤י אֻמְלַ֫ל אָ֥נִי רְפָאֵ֥נִי יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֖י נִבְהֲל֣וּ עֲצָמָֽי׃

וְ֭נַפְשִׁי נִבְהֲלָ֣ה מְאֹ֑ד יְ֝הוָ֗ה עַד־מָתָֽי׃

שׁוּבָ֣ה יְ֭הוָה חַלְּצָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י הֹ֝ושִׁיעֵ֗נִי לְמַ֣עַן חַסְדֶּֽךָ׃

4 ἐπίστρεψον κύριε, ῥῦσαι τὴν ψυχήν μου σῶσόν με ἕνεκεν τοῦ ἐλέους σου,	4 ἐπίστρεψον, Κύριε, ῥῦσαι τὴν ψυχήν μου, σῶσόν με ἕνεκεν τοῦ ἐλέους σου.

5 For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?

כִּ֤י אֵ֣ין בַּמָּ֣וֶת זִכְרֶ֑ךָ בִּ֝שְׁאֹ֗ול מִ֣י יֹֽודֶה־לָּֽךְ׃

5 ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ ὁ μνημονεύων σου, ἐν δὲ τῷ ᾅδῃ τίς ἐξομολογήσεταί σοι;	5 ὅτι οὐκ ἐστιν ἐν τῷ θανάτῳ ὁ μνημονεύων σου· ἐν δὲ τῷ ᾍδῃ τίς ἐξομολογήσεταί σοι;

6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

יָגַ֤עְתִּי ׀ בְּֽאַנְחָתִ֗י אַשְׂחֶ֣ה בְכָל־לַ֭יְלָה מִטָּתִ֑י בְּ֝דִמְעָתִ֗י עַרְשִׂ֥י אַמְסֶֽה׃

6 ἐκοπίασα ἐν τῷ στεναγμῷ μου, λούσω καθ’ ἑκάστην νύκτα τὴν κλίνην μου, ἐν δάκρυσίν μου τὴν στρωμνήν μου βρέξω.	6 ἐκοπίασα ἐν τῷ στεναγμῷ μου, λούσω καθ’ ἑκάστην νύκτα τὴν κλίνην μου, ἐν δάκρυσί μου τὴν στρωμνήν μου βρέξω.

עָֽשְׁשָׁ֣ה מִכַּ֣עַס עֵינִ֑י עָֽ֝תְקָ֗ה בְּכָל־צֹורְרָֽי׃

7 ἐταράχθη ἀπὸ θυμοῦ ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου, ἐπαλαιώθην ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου.	7 ἐταράχθη ἀπὸ θυμοῦ ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου, ἐπαλαιώθην ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ἐχθροῖς μου.

8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.

ס֣וּרוּ מִ֭מֶּנִּי כָּל־פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן כִּֽי־שָׁמַ֥ע יְ֝הוָ֗ה קֹ֣ול בִּכְיִֽי׃

8 Ἀπόστητε ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν, ὅτι εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ κλαυθμοῦ μου.	8 ἀπόστητε ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ πάντες οἱ ἐργαζόμενοι τὴν ἀνομίαν, ὅτι εἰσήκουσε Κύριος τῆς φωνῆς τοῦ κλαυθμοῦ μου·

9 The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.

שָׁמַ֣ע יְ֭הוָה תְּחִנָּתִ֑י יְ֝הוָ֗ה תְּֽפִלָּתִ֥י יִקָּֽח׃

9 εἰσήκουσεν κύριος τῆς δεήσεώς μου, κύριος τὴν προσευχήν μου προσεδέξατο.	9 ἤκουσε Κύριος τῆς δεήσεώς μου, Κύριος τὴν προσευχήν μου προσεδέξατο.

10 Let all my enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

יֵבֹ֤שׁוּ ׀ וְיִבָּהֲל֣וּ מְ֭אֹד כָּל־אֹיְבָ֑י יָ֝שֻׁ֗בוּ יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ רָֽגַע׃

10 αἰσχυνθείησαν καὶ ταραχθείησαν σφόδρα πάντες οἱ ἐχθροί μου, ἀποστραφείησαν καὶ καταισχυνθείησαν σφόδρα διὰ τάχους.	10 αἰσχυνθείησαν καὶ ταραχθείησαν σφόδρα πάντες οἱ ἔχθροί μου, ἀποστραφείησαν καὶ καταισχυνθείησαν σφόδρα διὰ τάχους.
