לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ לְדָ֫וִ֥ד

1 I put my trust in the LORD; How can you say to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

בַּֽיהוָ֨ה ׀ חָסִ֗יתִי אֵ֭יךְ תֹּאמְר֣וּ לְנַפְשִׁ֑י הַרְכֶ֥ם צִפֹּֽור׃

1 Ἐπὶ τῷ κυρίῳ πέποιθα· πῶς ἐρεῖτε τῇ ψυχῇ μου, μεταναστεύου ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη ὡς στρουθίον;	1 ἐπὶ τῷ Κυρίῳ πέποιθα· πῶς ἐρεῖτε τῇ ψυχῇ μου· μεταναστεύου ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη ὡς στρουθίον;

2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privately shoot at the upright in heart.

כִּ֤י הִנֵּ֪ה הָרְשָׁעִ֡ים יִדְרְכ֬וּן קֶ֗שֶׁת כֹּונְנ֣וּ חִצָּ֣ם עַל־יֶ֑תֶר לִירֹ֥ות בְּמֹו־אֹ֝֗פֶל לְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב׃

2 ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐνέτειναν τόξον, ἡτοίμασαν βέλη εἰς φαρέτραν, τοῦ κατατοξεῦσαι ἐν σκοτομήνῃ τοὺς εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ.	2 ὅτι ἰδοὺ οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἐνέτειναν τόξον, ἡτοίμασαν βέλη εἰς φαρέτραν τοῦ κατατοξεῦσαι ἐν σκοτομήνῃ τοὺς εὐθεῖς τῇ καρδίᾳ.

3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

כִּ֣י הַ֭שָּׁתֹות יֵֽהָרֵס֑וּן צַ֝דִּ֗יק מַה־פָּעָֽל׃

4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

יְהוָ֤ה ׀ בְּֽהֵ֘יכַ֤ל קָדְשֹׁ֗ו יְהוָה֮ בַּשָּׁמַ֪יִם כִּ֫סְאֹ֥ו עֵינָ֥יו יֶחֱז֑וּ עַפְעַפָּ֥יו יִ֝בְחֲנ֗וּ בְּנֵ֣י אָדָֽם׃

4 Κύριος ἐν ναῷ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ, κύριος ἐν οὐρανῷ ὁ θρόνος αὐτοῦ· οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν πένητα ἀποβλέπουσιν, τὰ βλέφαρα αὐτοῦ ἐξετάζει τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων·	4 Κύριος ἐν ναῷ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ· Κύριος ἐν οὐρανῷ ὁ θρόνος αὐτοῦ. οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν πένητα ἀποβλέπουσι, τὰ βλέφαρα αὐτοῦ ἐξετάζει τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν ἀνθρώπων.

5 The LORD tries the righteous; but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates.

יְהוָה֮ צַדִּ֪יק יִ֫בְחָ֥ן וְ֭רָשָׁע וְאֹהֵ֣ב חָמָ֑ס שָֽׂנְאָ֥ה נַפְשֹֽׁו׃

6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and a horrible tempest; this shall be the portion of their cup.

יַמְטֵ֥ר עַל־רְשָׁעִ֗ים פַּ֫חִ֥ים אֵ֣שׁ וְ֭גָפְרִית וְר֥וּחַ זִלְעָפֹ֗ות מְנָ֣ת כֹּוסָֽם׃

7 For the righteous LORD loves righteousness; his countenance beholds the upright.

כִּֽי־צַדִּ֣יק יְ֭הוָה צְדָקֹ֣ות אָהֵ֑ב יָ֝שָׁ֗ר יֶחֱז֥וּ פָנֵֽימֹו׃
