1 Praise you the LORD. Praise you the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights.

הַ֥לְלוּ יָ֨הּ ׀ הַֽלְל֣וּ אֶת־יְ֭הוָה מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֑יִם הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ בַּמְּרֹומִֽים׃

1 Αἰνεῖτε τὸν κύριον ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν, αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ὑψίστοις. 1 Αἰνεῖτε τὸν Κύριον ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν· αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ὑψίστοις.

הַֽלְל֥וּהוּ כָל־מַלְאָכָ֑יו הַֽ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־

2 αἰνεῖτε αὐτόν, πάντες οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ· αἰνεῖτε αὐτόν, πᾶσαι αἱ δυνάμεις αὐτοῦ. 2 αἰνεῖτε αὐτόν, πάντες οἱ ἄγγελοι αὐτοῦ· αἰνεῖτε αὐτόν, πᾶσαι αἱ δυνάμεις αὐτοῦ.

הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שֶׁ֣מֶשׁ וְיָרֵ֑חַ הַ֝לְל֗וּהוּ כָּל־כֹּ֥וכְבֵי אֹֽור׃

הַֽ֭לְלוּהוּ שְׁמֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְ֝הַמַּ֗יִם אֲשֶׁ֤ר ׀ מֵעַ֬ל הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

4 αἰνεῖτε αὐτόν, οἱ οὐρανοὶ τῶν οὐρανῶν, καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ὑπεράνω τῶν οὐρανῶν. 4 αἰνεῖτε αὐτὸν οἱ οὐρανοὶ τῶν οὐρανῶν καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ὑπεράνω τῶν οὐρανῶν.

5 Let them praise the name of the LORD; for he commanded, and they were created.

יְֽ֭הַֽלְלוּ אֶת־שֵׁ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י ה֭וּא צִוָּ֣ה וְנִבְרָֽאוּ׃

5 αἰνεσάτωσαν τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου, ὅτι αὐτὸς εἶπεν, καὶ ἐγενήθησαν, αὐτὸς ἐνετείλατο, καὶ ἐκτίσθησαν. 5 αἰνεσάτωσαν τὸ ὄνομα Κυρίου, ὅτι αὐτὸς εἶπε, καὶ ἐγενήθησαν, αὐτὸς ἐνετείλατο, καὶ ἐκτίσθησαν.

6 He has also stablished them for ever and ever; he has made a decree which shall not pass.

וַיַּעֲמִידֵ֣ם לָעַ֣ד לְעֹולָ֑ם חָק־נָ֝תַ֗ן וְלֹ֣א יַעֲבֹֽור׃

6 ἔστησεν αὐτὰ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος· πρόσταγμα ἔθετο, καὶ οὐ παρελεύσεται. 6 ἔστησεν αὐτὰ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος· πρόσταγμα ἔθετο, καὶ οὐ παρελεύσεται.

7 Praise the LORD from the earth, you dragons, and all deeps;

8 Fire, and hail; snow, and vapour; stormy wind fulfilling his word;

אֵ֣שׁ וּ֭בָרָד שֶׁ֣לֶג וְקִיטֹ֑ור ר֥וּחַ סְ֝עָרָ֗ה עֹשָׂ֥ה דְבָרֹֽו׃

8 πῦρ, χάλαζα, χιών, κρύσταλλος, πνεῦμα καταιγίδος, τὰ ποιοῦντα τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ· 8 πῦρ, χάλαζα, χιών, κρύσταλλος, πνεῦμα καταιγίδος, τὰ ποιοῦντα τὸν λόγον αὐτοῦ·

9 Mountains, and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars;

הֶהָרִ֥ים וְכָל־גְּבָעֹ֑ות עֵ֥ץ פְּ֝רִ֗י וְכָל־אֲרָזִֽים׃

9 τὰ ὄρη καὶ πάντες οἱ βουνοί, ξύλα καρποφόρα καὶ πᾶσαι κέδροι· 9 τὰ ὄρη καὶ πάντες οἱ βουνοί, ξύλα καρποφόρα καὶ πᾶσαι κέδροι·

10 Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl;

הַֽחַיָּ֥ה וְכָל־בְּהֵמָ֑ה רֶ֝֗מֶשׂ וְצִפֹּ֥ור כָּנָֽף׃

10 τὰ θηρία καὶ πάντα τὰ κτήνη, ἑρπετὰ καὶ πετεινὰ πτερωτά· 10 τὰ θηρία καὶ πάντα τὰ κτήνη, ἑρπετὰ καὶ πετεινὰ πτερωτά·
10 wild beasts, and all cattle; reptiles, and winged birds; 10 wild beasts, and all cattle; reptiles, and winged birds;

11 Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth;

מַלְכֵי־אֶ֭רֶץ וְכָל־לְאֻמִּ֑ים שָׂ֝רִ֗ים וְכָל־שֹׁ֥פְטֵי אָֽרֶץ׃

11 βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ πάντες λαοί, ἄρχοντες καὶ πάντες κριταὶ γῆς· 11 βασιλεῖς τῆς γῆς καὶ πάντες λαοί, ἄρχοντες καὶ πάντες κριταὶ γῆς·
11 kings of the earth, and all peoples; princes, and all judges of the earth; 11 kings of the earth, and all peoples; princes, and all judges of the earth;

12 Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children;

בַּחוּרִ֥ים וְגַם־בְּתוּלֹ֑ות זְ֝קֵנִ֗ים עִם־נְעָרִֽים׃

12 νεανίσκοι καὶ παρθένοι, πρεσβῦται μετὰ νεωτέρων· 12 νεανίσκοι καὶ παρθένοι, πρεσβύτεροι μετὰ νεωτέρων·
12 young men and virgins, old men with youths; 12 young men and virgins, old men with youths;

13 Let them praise the name of the LORD; for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven.

יְהַלְל֤וּ ׀ אֶת־שֵׁ֬ם יְהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־נִשְׂגָּ֣ב שְׁמֹ֣ו לְבַדֹּ֑ו הֹ֝ודֹ֗ו עַל־אֶ֥רֶץ וְשָׁמָֽיִם׃

13 αἰνεσάτωσαν τὸ ὄνομα κυρίου, ὅτι ὑψώθη τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ μόνου· ἡ ἐξομολόγησις αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ γῆς καὶ οὐρανοῦ. 13 αἰνεσάτωσαν τὸ ὄνομα Κυρίου, ὅτι ὑψώθη τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ μόνου· ἡ ἐξομολόγησις αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ γῆς καὶ οὐρανοῦ.

14 He also exalts the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise you the LORD.

וַיָּ֤רֶם קֶ֨רֶן ׀ לְעַמֹּ֡ו תְּהִלָּ֤ה לְֽכָל־חֲסִידָ֗יו לִבְנֵ֣י יִ֭שְׂרָאֵל עַֽם־קְרֹבֹ֗ו הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃

14 καὶ ὑψώσει κέρας λαοῦ αὐτοῦ· ὕμνος πᾶσι τοῖς ὁσίοις αὐτοῦ, τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ, λαῷ ἐγγίζοντι αὐτῷ. 14 καὶ ὑψώσει κέρας λαοῦ αὐτοῦ· ὕμνος πᾶσι τοῖς ὁσίοις αὐτοῦ, τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ, λαῷ ἐγγίζοντι αὐτῷ.
