The First Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians parallel Greek texts

Chapter 3

NASTextRec
And I, brothers, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. And I, brothers, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.
ὅπου γὰρ ἐν ὑμῖν ζῆλος καὶ ἔρις, οὐχὶ σαρκικοί ἐστε καὶ κατὰ ἄνθρωπον περιπατεῖτε;
ὅπου γὰρ ἐν ὑμῖν ζῆλος καὶ ἔρις, καὶ διχοστασίαι, οὐχὶ σαρκικοί ἐστε, καὶ κατὰ ἄνθρωπον περιπατεῖτε;
for you are still fleshly. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly, and are you not walking like mere men? For you are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?
3:4 ὅταν γὰρ λέγῃ τις, Ἐγὼ μέν εἰμι Παύλου, ἕτερος δὲ, Ἐγὼ Ἀπολλῶ, οὐκ ἄνθρωποί ἐστε; 4 ὅταν γὰρ λέγῃ τις, Ἐγὼ μέν εἰμι Παύλου, ἕτερος δέ, Ἐγὼ Ἀπολλῶ, οὐχὶ σαρκικοί ἐστε;
For when one says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not mere men? For while one says, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are you not carnal?
3:5 Τί οὖν ἐστιν Ἀπολλῶς;
τί δέ ἐστιν Παῦλος;
5 τίς οὖν ἐστι Παῦλος, τίς δὲ Ἀπολλῶς, ἀλλ᾿ διάκονοι δι᾿ ὧν ἐπιστεύσατε, καὶ ἑκάστῳ ὡς κύριος ἔδωκεν;
What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, even as the Lord gave opportunity to each one. Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labour. Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building. For we are labourers together with God: you are God's husbandry, you are God's building.
According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
each man's work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man's work. Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. If any man's work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man's work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
3:16 οὐκ οἴδατε ὅτι ναὸς θεοῦ ἐστε καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ θεοῦ οἰκεῖ ἐν ὑμῖν; 16 οὐκ οἴδατε ὅτι ναὸς θεοῦ ἐστε, καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα τοῦ θεοῦ οἰκεῖ ἐν ὑμῖν;
Don't you know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are. If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness”; For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, he takes the wise in their own craftiness.
and again, “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.” And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
So then let no one boast in men. For all things belong to you, Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;
whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's;
and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God. And you are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
