6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: therefore then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Mōysēs?

9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.

11 And Aaron said unto Mōysēs, Alas, my lord, I beseech you, lay not the sin upon us, in which we have done foolishly, and in which we have sinned.

11 And Aarōn said to Mōysēs, “Please, sir, don’t lay sin upon us, because we were ignorant in what we sinned. 11 And Aarōn said to Mōysēs, “Please, sir, don’t lay sin upon us, because we were ignorant in what we sinned.

12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb.

12 Don’t let her become like something equal to death, like a miscarriage coming out of a mother’s womb, and it devours half of her flesh.” 12 Don’t let her become like something equal to death, like a miscarriage coming out of a mother’s womb, and it devours half of her flesh.”

13 And Mōysēs cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, Oh God, I beseech you.

13 And Mōysēs cried out to the Lord, saying, “O God, I beg you, heal her!” 13 And Mōysēs cried out to the Lord, saying, “O God, I beg you, heal her!”

14 And the LORD said unto Mōysēs, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.

14 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Εἰ πατὴρ αὐτῆς πτύων ἐνέπτυσεν εἰς τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτῆς, οὐκ ἐντραπήσεται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας;

14 And the Lord said to Mōysēs, “If her father when spitting had spat in her face, would she not be put to shame for seven days? Let her be quarantined for seven days outside the camp, and afterward she shall enter.” 14 And the Lord said to Mōysēs, “If her father when spitting had spat in her face, would she not be put to shame for seven days? Let her be quarantined for seven days outside the camp, and afterward she shall enter.”

15 And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people didn’t journey until Miriam was brought in again.

15 And Mariam was quarantined outside the camp for seven days; and the people did not go out until Mariam was cleansed. 15 And Mariam was quarantined outside the camp for seven days; and the people did not go out until Mariam was cleansed.

16 And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
