Chapter 16

NASTextRec
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do you also. Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do you.
On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God has prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
When I arrive, whomever you may approve, I will send them with letters to carry your gift to Jerusalem; And when I come, whomsoever you shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
and if it is fitting for me to go also, they will go with me. And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.
But I will come to you after I go through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia; Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go. And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that you may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
For I don’t wish to see you now just in passing; for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits. For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
But I will remain in Ephesus until Pentecost; But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost.
for a wide door for effective service has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without cause to be afraid, for he is doing the Lord's work, as I also am. Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
So let no one despise him. But send him on his way in peace, so that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers. Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brothers.
But concerning Apollos our brother, I encouraged him greatly to come to you with the brothers; and it was not at all his desire to come now, but he will come when he has opportunity. As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brothers: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Watch you, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Let all that you do be done in love. Let all your things be done with charity.
Now I urge you, brothers (you know the household of Stephanas, that they were the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves for ministry to the saints), I beseech you, brothers, (you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
that you also be in subjection to such men and to everyone who helps in the work and labours. That you submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
I rejoice over the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus, because they have supplied what was lacking on your part. I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus: for that which was lacking on your part they have supplied.
For they have refreshed my spirit and yours. Therefore acknowledge such men. For they have refreshed my spirit and yours: therefore acknowledge you them that are such.
The churches of Asia Minor greet you. Aquila and Prisca greet you heartily in the Lord, with the church that is in their house. The churches of Asia Minor salute you. Aquila and Priscilla salute you much in the Lord, with the church that is in their house.
All the brothers greet you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the brothers greet you. Greet you one another with an holy kiss.
The greeting is in my own hand—Paul. The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
If anyone doesn’t love the Lord, he is to be accursed. Maranatha. If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.
The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amēn. My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amēn.
