Ezekiel Prepares for Exile
1 The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,
וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃

2 Son of man, you dwells in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.
בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם בְּתֹ֥וךְ בֵּית־הַמֶּ֖רִי אַתָּ֣ה יֹשֵׁ֑ב אֲשֶׁ֣ר עֵינַיִם֩ לָהֶ֨ם לִרְאֹ֜ות וְלֹ֣א רָא֗וּ אָזְנַ֨יִם לָהֶ֤ם לִשְׁמֹ֙עַ֙ וְלֹ֣א שָׁמֵ֔עוּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽם׃

υἱὲ
ἀνθρώπου, ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδικιῶν αὐτῶν σὺ κατοικεῖς, οἳ ἔχουσιν ὀφθαλμοὺς τοῦ βλέπειν καὶ οὐ βλέπουσιν καὶ ὦτα ἔχουσιν τοῦ ἀκούειν καὶ οὐκ ἀκούουσιν, διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν. |

3 Therefore, you son of man, prepare you stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and you shall remove from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.
וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם עֲשֵׂ֤ה לְךָ֙ כְּלֵ֣י גֹולָ֔ה וּגְלֵ֥ה יֹומָ֖ם לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם וְגָלִ֨יתָ מִמְּקֹומְךָ֜ אֶל־מָקֹ֤ום אַחֵר֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם אוּלַ֣י יִרְא֔וּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃

σύ, υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, ποίησον σεαυτῷ σκεύη αἰχμαλωσίας ἡμέρας ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν καὶ αἰχμαλωτευθήσῃ ἐκ τοῦ τόπου σου εἰς ἕτερον τόπον ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν, ὅπως ἴδωσιν, διότι οἶκος παραπικραίνων ἐστίν. |

וְהֹוצֵאתָ֨ כֵלֶ֜יךָ כִּכְלֵ֥י גֹולָ֛ה יֹומָ֖ם לְעֵֽינֵיהֶ֑ם וְאַתָּ֗ה תֵּצֵ֤א בָעֶ֙רֶב֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם כְּמֹוצָאֵ֖י גֹּולָֽה׃

לְעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם חֲתָר־לְךָ֣ בַקִּ֑יר וְהֹוצֵאתָ֖ בֹּֽו׃

7 And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I dug through the wall with my hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I carried it upon my shoulder in their sight.
וָאַ֣עַשׂ כֵּן֮ כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צֻוֵּיתִי֒ כֵּ֠לַי הֹוצֵ֜אתִי כִּכְלֵ֤י גֹולָה֙ יֹומָ֔ם וּבָעֶ֛רֶב חָתַֽרְתִּי־לִ֥י בַקִּ֖יר בְּיָ֑ד בָּעֲלָטָ֥ה הֹוצֵ֛אתִי עַל־כָּתֵ֥ף נָשָׂ֖אתִי לְעֵינֵיהֶֽם׃

בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הֲלֹ֨א אָמְר֥וּ אֵלֶ֛יךָ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֑רִי מָ֖ה אַתָּ֥ה עֹשֶֽׂה׃

10 Say you unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.

εἰπόν, ὅτι ἐγὼ τέρατα ποιῶ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς· ὃν τρόπον πεποίηκα, οὕτως ἔσται αὐτοῖς· ἐν μετοικεσίᾳ καὶ ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ πορεύσονται, |

וְכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר סְבִיבֹתָ֥יו וְכָל־אֲגַפָּ֖יו אֱזָרֶ֣ה לְכָל־ר֑וּחַ וְחֶ֖רֶב אָרִ֥יק אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃
| 14 καὶ πάντας τοὺς κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ τοὺς βοηθοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀντιλαμβανομένους αὐτοῦ διασπερῶ εἰς πάντα ἄνεμον καὶ ῥομφαίαν ἐκκενώσω ὀπίσω αὐτῶν· | 14 καὶ πάντας τοὺς κύκλῳ αὐτοῦ τοὺς βοηθοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἀντιλαμβανομένους αὐτοῦ διασπερῶ εἰς πάντα ἄνεμον καὶ ῥομφαίαν ἐκκενώσω ὀπίσω αὐτῶν· |

וְהֹותַרְתִּ֤י מֵהֶם֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר מֵחֶ֖רֶב מֵרָעָ֣ב וּמִדָּ֑בֶר לְמַ֨עַן יְסַפְּר֜וּ אֶת־כָּל־תֹּועֲבֹֽותֵיהֶ֗ם בַּגֹּויִם֙ אֲשֶׁר־בָּ֣אוּ שָׁ֔ם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם לַחְמְךָ֖ בְּרַ֣עַשׁ תֹּאכֵ֑ל וּמֵימֶ֕יךָ בְּרָגְזָ֥ה וּבִדְאָגָ֖ה תִּשְׁתֶּֽה׃

ἀνθρώπου, τὸν ἄρτον σου μετ’ ὀδύνης φάγεσαι καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ σου μετὰ βασάνου καὶ θλίψεως πίεσαι |

וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֶל־עַ֣ם הָאָ֡רֶץ כֹּֽה־אָמַר֩ אֲדֹנָ֨י יְהוִ֜ה לְיֹושְׁבֵ֤י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ אֶל־אַדְמַ֣ת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לַחְמָם֙ בִּדְאָגָ֣ה יֹאכֵ֔לוּ וּמֵֽימֵיהֶ֖ם בְּשִׁמָּמֹ֣ון יִשְׁתּ֑וּ לְמַ֜עַן תֵּשַׁ֤ם אַרְצָהּ֙ מִמְּלֹאָ֔הּ מֵחֲמַ֖ס כָּֽל־הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים בָּֽהּ׃

כִּ֠י לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶ֥ה עֹ֛וד כָּל־חֲזֹ֥ון שָׁ֖וְא וּמִקְסַ֣ם חָלָ֑ק בְּתֹ֖וךְ בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
