Psalm 116
1 I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.
אָ֭הַבְתִּי כִּֽי־יִשְׁמַ֥ע ׀ יְהוָ֑ה אֶת־קֹ֝ולִ֗י תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃

2 Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
כִּֽי־הִטָּ֣ה אָזְנֹ֣ו לִ֑י וּבְיָמַ֥י אֶקְרָֽא׃

3 The sorrows of death surrounded me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow.
אֲפָפ֤וּנִי ׀ חֶבְלֵי־מָ֗וֶת וּמְצָרֵ֣י שְׁאֹ֣ול מְצָא֑וּנִי צָרָ֖ה וְיָגֹ֣ון אֶמְצָֽא׃

וּבְשֵֽׁם־יְהוָ֥ה אֶקְרָ֑א אָנָּ֥ה יְ֝הוָ֗ה מַלְּטָ֥ה נַפְשִֽׁי׃

5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yes, our God is merciful.
חַנּ֣וּן יְהֹוָ֣ה וְצַדִּ֑יק וֵ֖אלֹהֵ֣ינוּ מְרַחֵֽם׃

כִּ֤י חִלַּ֥צְתָּ נַפְשִׁ֗י מִ֫מָּ֥וֶת אֶת־עֵינִ֥י מִן־דִּמְעָ֑ה אֶת־רַגְלִ֥י מִדֶּֽחִי׃

הֶ֭אֱמַנְתִּי כִּ֣י אֲדַבֵּ֑ר אֲ֝נִ֗י עָנִ֥יתִי מְאֹֽד׃

12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
מָֽה־אָשִׁ֥יב לַיהוָ֑ה כָּֽל־תַּגְמוּלֹ֥והִי עָלָֽי׃
