10:38 εἰ δὲ ποιῶ, κἂν ἐμοὶ μὴ πιστεύητε, τοῖς ἔργοις πιστεύετε, ἵνα γνῶτε καὶ γινώσκητε ὅτι ἐν ἐμοὶ πατὴρ κἀγὼ ἐν τῷ πατρί. 38 εἰ δὲ ποιῶ, κἂν ἐμοὶ μὴ πιστεύητε, τοῖς ἔργοις πιστεύσατε·
ἵνα γνῶτε καὶ πιστεύσητε, ὅτι ἐν ἐμοὶ πατὴρ, κἀγὼ ἐν αὐτῷ.

[1] An 8-day feast in the month of Kislev (December) celebrating the purification and rededication of the temple by Judas Maccabee in 165BC (I Macc. 1:59; 4:52, 59). Also called "Feast of Lights" for all the homes were lit through the night. It was a time of family reunions as many people flocked to Jerusalem.
