Chapter 3

NASTextRec
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Mōses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of depraved mind, rejected in regard to the faith. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Mōses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
But they will not make further progress; for their folly will be obvious to all, just as Jannes's and Jambres's folly was also. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as their's also was.
Now you followed my teaching, conduct, purpose, faith, patience, love, perseverance, But you have fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
persecutions, and sufferings, such as happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium and at Lystra; what persecutions I endured, and out of them all the Lord rescued me! Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
But evil men and impostors will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, But continue you in the things which you have learned and have been assured of, knowing of whom you have learned them;
and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. And that from a child you have known the holy scriptures, which are able to make you wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
